Micron Range of Motion Visualization

چکیده
In microsurgical procedures, surgeons need to perform complex operations on extremely small anatomy. Vitreoretinal surgery is one such complex surgery, where several new promising techniques are being developed, which require extraordinary control at sub-mm scales. For these reasons, micron (robotic aid) was developed to help surgeons gain better positioning accuracy, with active tremor cancellation and motion scaling. While these micron aids are quite advantageous, it has a very small range of motion. In this paper, we propose to develop an audio and visual feedback system, which will help surgeons stay in the workspace of the micron at all times.
